This is probably the least I’ve ever enjoyed a film. The trailer was pretty great but man was this ever boring/forced. I think someone might have slipped Daniel Craig a few tamazepam before filming each scene, his range was basically either looking mildly annoyed or taking his glasses off in shock. My knowledge of the series begins and ends at seeing every HR representative looking woman on trains/trams reading them for the past few years but the whole “women triumphing over evil men” side of it seemed mildly insulting to all involved. Fincher nailed the whole “reporter getting too close to a serial killer” thing in ‘Zodiac’ and seemed to be just going through the motions here. ZERO THUMBS UP.
